Recycling: Wyoming County Recycling Center

The recycling trailer at Creekside Park is set to be removed on June 14, 2026 due to abuse of the recycling station. The service was free to residents of both Factoryville Borough and Clinton Township, but Wyoming County Recycling Center charges a per ton fee. We were receiving trash from some individuals who were using this as a dump site, and we were receiving recycling from individuals not in either the Borough or Township. These two actions filled the trailer too quickly, forced maintenance to clean trash out of the trailer, increased cost to both the Borough and Township, and kept residents from being able to recycle.

Until June 14, 2026, please use these guidelines for the trailer at Creekside Park!

The trailer accepts the following items only:

  •     Plastic-Only Bottle and Jars with 1 & 2 on Bottom
  •     Clear and Brown Glass Food and Drink Containers
  •     Tin Cans-Must be Clean; Labels can be left on
  •     Aluminum Cans/Pie Pans
  •     Corrugated Cardboard
  •     Newspapers and Brown Paper Bags
  •     Magazines – Stapled and Glue bindings are acceptable
  •     Office Paper – White ledger and white computer pape

Individuals in Wyoming County can use any of the Three Locations for Drop-Offs:
