The Factoryville Women’s Civic League meets monthly from September through May on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Factoryville Public Library, 163 College Avenue. New members are always welcome.
Factoryville Women’s Civic League Mission Statement:
The mission of the Factoryville Women’s Civic League is to support our community, our youth, and each other through service activities and friendship.
The Women’s Civic League participates in community events and fundraising throughout the year, including Christy Mathewson Day, The Factoryville Christmas Market, and a flower basket sale. The also maintain the flower boxes throughout the Borough and participate in other town beautification efforts. Tree Dedication to Previous Civic League Members
In 2023, the Women’s Civic League planted 3 new trees in the Creekside Park to honor previous members who have passed away. The trees are dedicated to Patti Lavelle, Betty Carpenter, and Geraldine Sharp.
2024 “Person of the Year” Award
